Popular couturier Sandeep Khosla of the fashion label Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla says there are no set rules in the fashion world, and the fun lies in being original. "We don't believe in following trends or forecasts. We don't believe anyone should.

The modern bride and wedding are products of the 21st century. It's about choosing for yourself and celebrating that individuality, be it your ensembles or the celebration and its many events. There are no set rules. Be original," shared Sandeep.

He added: "Whether it is what you wear or your wedding, the mission is to reinvent, to embrace the new without losing the charm and beauty of traditions you hold dear. It is a return to romance and a devotion to detail. Finesse is the absolute last word. Define your dream and make it real."

Sandeep along with his other half Abu Jani will unveil their new couture bridal collection in association with Shaadi By Marriott. The launch of Winter Festive couture collection in association with Marriott International, will take place on July 21 at JW Marriott Hotel here. They will show the Haute Couture Wedding 2017 Collection.

Talking about the collection, Sandeep said: "It is our most ambitious and extravagant collection to date. The collection is a scintillating mix of ranges that spell absolute fantasy. Deeply romantic and decidedly diverse, it features a fabulous feast of fabrics and techniques. The silhouettes too embrace the entire spectrum from Indian to western, and classical to ultra-contemporary."

For the collection, the designers drew influences from the "majesty of nature and its flora and fauna to the magnificent style, spirit and mood of Paris"."This collection knows neither borders nor limits. It is quite simply our hearts and creative imagination running wild and free."

The show, as Sandeep mentions, will be representative of "the great Indian wedding and brings alive every Indian wedding ritual through five-part fashion sequence including the cocktail, mehendi, haldi, sangeet and finally, the shaadi".
