Organisers felicitated philanthropist KottaKrishnaveni with ‘Telangana Shakti’ award. She is well known for her services towardsthe poor, differently-abled and orphans for the past 10 years.
Krishnaveni is popular in her neighbourhood for extending help to the domestic workers and actively involves for their wellbeing. She encourages community eating.
Krishnaveni distributes Oral Rehydration Solution packets to poor people in summer. She encourages education by providing school bags and stationary to poor kids.
Krishnaveni helps the poor people by donating plastic covers to protect their houses during the rainy season. In all 222 persons performed Bonalu Dances at this event, which is nominated for the Guinness Telugu World Records.
