Events industry parties hard!
The third edition of Telangana Chamber of Events Industry’s (TCEI) ‘Event Excellence Awards’ was a gala affair at Hitex in Madhapur recently.
The third edition of Telangana Chamber of Events Industry’s (TCEI) ‘Event Excellence Awards’ was a gala affair at Hitex in Madhapur recently. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali gave away the awards at the event, which was attended by over 3,000 people including MLA Jaffer Hussain, MLC Shabbir Ali, Chairman of Muffakham Jah College Ameer Jaweed and Special Chief Secretary, Chandana Khan among others.
Five‘Jade Awards’ were presented to Ramesh Adda – planet production services, TK Dhar – Dhar Decorators, Kishan Agarwal – Classical Garden and Atul Metha - Atul Caterers. During the five-hour long event, which continued until late in the night, three lifetime achievement awards were presented to professionals for their professional excellence by RakhiKhankaria. This included Late Mohd Sardar Uddin– GulzarYousufian& Co, Late Prakash Rao – Prakash Lightings and Late Gokul Naidu – Disc Jockey.
Tollywood producer, Raj Kandurigave away the first set of ‘Pearl Of Hyderabad and Space Events’, which included Swethwho received ‘Best Audiofor Events 2017’ and ‘Best Audio Visual Rental’ to Ajay Multimedia. While Fort Grand received the ‘Best Amusement Center’ award, Palm Exotica was the ‘Best Resort’.
The ‘Best PR Firm Award’ was presented to Sultan Mirza and Sultan Saud Mirza of Marks Media Communication. According to Surath Singh Malhotra and Neeraj Thakur, President and General Secretary of TCEI, “The third edition of the awards got tremendous response and solicited more than 150 nominations in 50 categories which includes the E- Awards, more than doubling nominations received last year.”
In addition, the organisers had lined up international and national entertainment that included Baljinder Singh (flutist), Jainam Dance Group, live singing performance by Sri Krishna and International Carnival Performanceby Carnival Girls.
