"Our main aim is to provide quality education to minority students. We have searched many institutions in North India and selected Jahangirabad Institute of Technology,” he said.

Aneesudin said that the enrollment of students belonging to minority community in higher education is quite low. “While the primary factor is weak economic conditions, another big reason is inaccessibility to good colleges.

In this scenario, the Sahayata Trust wants to provide almost free education to boys who secured more than 85 per cent boys and girls who got 65 per cent and above marks by way of paying balance fee after adjusting scholarships to JIT,” he said.

Interested candidates may visit www.jit.edu.in and click on "Sahayata Scholarship Online Test" for registration and test. This can be done online until August 25.
