Sports Authority of Telangana State to plant 1 lakh saplings
Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) is going to take up the ‘Haritha Haram’ initiative at a massive scale on July 31. In this regard, the organisation will take the support of sports players and officials and conduct plantation drives across all sports grounds in the State along with sports schools as well.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, AllipuramVenkateshwar Reddy, SATS Chairman said, “We have identified 100 places in the State and we will plant over one lakh saplings in one day!”
The organisation has requested all DYSO’s, MRO’s, MPDO’s, ministers, MLA’s and sportspersons to participate in this massive undertaking. Sports Minister T Padma Rao, Principal Secretary of Sports Burra Venkatesham, and SATS MD Dinakar Babu will also be present.
