Weekend of cultural showcase
The weekend cultural activities at Amphitheatre, Shilparamam mesmerised the audience. Bangaluru-based Bharatanatyam dancer Aishwarya Raman, Kathak dancer Mitha Vinay and Kuchipudi dance by Sharath Kumar and Harathi group enthralled the audience with their spellbinding performance.
The weekend cultural activities at Amphitheatre, Shilparamam mesmerised the audience. Bangaluru-based Bharatanatyam dancer Aishwarya Raman, Kathak dancer Mitha Vinay and Kuchipudi dance by Sharath Kumar and Harathi group enthralled the audience with their spellbinding performance.
The evening began with the Bharatanatyam dance rendition by Aishwarya Raman. She performed for the items like ‘Pushpanjali’,‘MayuraAlaripu’, ‘Sriman Narayana’, ‘Sri Valli’ and ‘Madhurashtakam’.
Following Aishwarya Raman, Mitha Vinay, disciple of gurus Nandini Mehta and K Murali Mohan rendered for ‘Shiva Stuti’, ‘Teentaal’ and ‘Ashtapadi’. Trained as a solo dancer, MithaVinay has given innumerable performances in the most prestigious places across India, USA, Canada and other South Asian countries.
Later, Hyderabad Kuchipudi dancers include Sharath Kumar and Harathi group performed for ‘Ganesh Vandhana’, ‘TulasidasuBhajana’, ‘Jatisvaram’, ‘AanandaThandavam’, ‘Hanuman Chalisa’, ‘MuddugareYashoda’ and ‘Tillana’.
