Mechanics roll skills at Castrol Super Mechanic
B Madhava Rao from Vishakhapatnam, B Sandeep from Warangal and S Shankara Chary from Nalgonda emerged as the top three winners of the ‘Castrol Super Mechanic’ regional round, which was held in Hyderabad recently.

The trio will represent South region at the all India finals in September. Over 250 mechanics participated in the competition that included a quiz and two practical rounds. In addition, participants went through a technical training on two-wheeler engine technology.
Commenting on the contest, KedarApte – Vice President Marketing, Castrol India said, “Mechanics are our key business partners and we are delighted to provide them with a platform where they can showcase their knowledge and skills. We have also taken the opportunity to share knowledge and information with them about the latest trends and technologies in motorcycle engines, maintenance and lubricants.”
Chary, one of the winners, said, “My victory is an outcome of my hard work and dedication and I am looking forward to the finals. I really hope I can be amongst the top three winners and represent India at the Castrol Asia mechanic contest to be held in Thailand.” The top three all India winners will participate in the Castrol Asia Mechanic contest in Bangkok in November.
