A 5kg FTL was launched by Rahul Bharadwaj, ED TAPSO, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd at COCO in Hitec Cityover the weekend. The event was attended by J Siva Kumar, GM I/C (LPG), Alok Kumar, GM (LPG-S), Deepak Das, DGM (RS), Secunderabad Divisional Office, JVSR Sekhar Kumar, DGM (LPG-S), Secunderabad AOVBalasubramanyam, DGM (CC-PR), TAPSO and Sharat Kumar, DGM (RS), TAPSO.

The ED handed over the cylinders to a few customers and elaborated the benefits of usage of 5 kg FTL. “Over the years, with the boom in segments such as IT, real estate, BPOs and educational institutions, a large new category of customers have emerged who are young, staying away from home, migrant in nature and have got adequate disposable income.
Their monthly consumption is considerably less in view of their nature of job. This category of customers is unable to avail new connection in view of absence of proper proof of address (POA). Such customers can avail 5 kg FTL with only ID proof and without any other documentation,” he said.
The equipment along with Suraksha Rubber Tube with Pressure Regulator is available for Rs1,322 and the cost of FTL product is Rs 306 for the current month and varies every month.
