Srivatsa lifts Brilliant title

K Srivatsa of DAV School, Safilguda, won the junior category title in the 135th Brilliant Trophy chess tournament with clean sweep of the six rounds. T Mahesh with 5.5 points and Drakshith with five points fuinishwed second and third, respectively.

In the open category Spandan Pati of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Jubilee Hills won the event with an aggregate of 5.5 points. K Sarat Chandra and K Anurag took the second and third places with five points each. Later, Major KA Shiva Prasad, Vice-President of Telangana State Chess Association gave away the prizes.
