On the occasion on 71st Indian Independence Day, Shilparamam organised various culture programmes. The evening started with patriotic songs by Swara Bharathi Institute of Hyderabad under the guidance of Uma Shanker.

On the occasion on 71st Indian Independence Day, Shilparamam organised various culture programmes. The evening started with patriotic songs by Swara Bharathi Institute of Hyderabad under the guidance of Uma Shanker. The Swara Bharathi team rendered various patriotic songs, flute, violin, guitar and keyboard. The team mesmerised the audience with their flawless performance.

Later, Bharatanatyam dance recital by the students of Padma Hemanth, Banglore was organised. The team performed for items like ‘Shiva Tandava Stotram’, ‘Khanda Jaati Alarippu’, ‘Jatiswaram’, ‘Devi Stuti-Bhairava Naari’, ‘Ranjanimaala’, and ‘Adyanjali’. The audience were spellbound by the performance of Padma Hemanth’s students.

Following Bharatanatyam recital, students of Vani Ramanarendered Kuchipudi for items like ‘Jayadeva Astapadhi’, Mushika Vahana’ and ‘Marakatha Manimaya’. Students of Guru Vaidhehi performed Bharatanatyam dance showcasing ‘Natesha Pushpanjali’, ‘Natesha Kautwam’, ‘Kavadi Chindu’, ‘Shivastuti’ and ‘Padam - Natanam Adinar’.
