NCC training camp concludes
The ten-day annual training camp ‘VI cum LIDC’ concluded at Bison Training Ground in Secunderabad on Wednesday. Conducted by the 4 Telangana Battalion NCC, the camp had about 599 NCC Cadets of school and colleges from Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Warangal and Nizamabad Groupswho attended.
The ten-day annual training camp ‘VI cum LIDC’ concluded at Bison Training Ground in Secunderabad on Wednesday. Conducted by the 4 Telangana Battalion NCC, the camp had about 599 NCC Cadets of school and colleges from Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Warangal and Nizamabad Groupswho attended.
In addition, 130 of these cadets participated in the Independence Day celebration at Golconda Fort. The camp was inaugurated by Col NS Pal,Sena Medal,Group Commander NCC Group Headquarter,Secunderabad in which he encouraged cadets to actively participate in training activities and to give exposure in military way of living.
The Camp Commandant Lt Col Kishor Kumar Moregave an introduction on the camp activities and the importance of the personality building and character building in everycadet. “The aim of this camp was to impart outdoor training to cadets with a view to develop leadership qualities,make them eligible to appear for NCC ‘A’/’B’/’C’ certificate of examination, impart intensive training to the probable RDC, TSC &Centrallyorganised camps,” said More.
