Anushree At Lakme Fashion Week
Last season, I took a de-toured from my bridal wear and experimented with beautiful drapes and flowy silhouettes taking a step forward into pret wear. It was very well received and a good experience at LFW.
What draws you to LFW
Lakme Fashion Week is very dear to me as it was my first platform to showcase into the fashion arena. This will be my 10th season at LFW. It has played as an anchor in my journey and is very special to my heart.
How has been your experience the last season
Last season, I took a de-toured from my bridal wear and experimented with beautiful drapes and flowy silhouettes taking a step forward into pret wear. It was very well received and a good experience at LFW.
What is the theme of your collection?
The winter festive collection draws inspiration from the beautiful princess of Hyderabad, Niloufer. It is about elaborate royal opulence, that goes back to the aura of the majestic Mughal empire. Intricate hand embroidery takes strong influences from details ranging from architecture to jewellery.
Are you using accessories etc to go with your collection - which ones?
This season the accessories are kept to minimal as we'd like to highlight the embellishment on the outfits that are showcased on the runway.
