Toastmasters showcase oratory skills
The second season of ‘Master Orator Championship 2017’ (MOC) came to close in the city recently. Organised by District 98 Toastmasters, the event, which was held at the Indian School of Business, aimed to build communication and leadership skills among the participants.

The finale, which had the presence of the Deputy High Commissioner, British Council India, Andrew Fleming and Goutham Reddy, CEO and MD of Ramky Enviro Engineers, featured 10 contestants battling it out for the title.The winner was Devayani Reddy, CBIT Hyderabad, who won an all-expenses paid trip to a Toastmasters conference outside India.
The first runner-up, Gautham Reddy from Guru Nanak Institute of Technology won an Apple MacBook Air and the second runner up, Suma Singuluri from G Pulliah Engineering College, won an Apple iPad. The trio beat over 2,100 students who signed up to participate.
