Sigma Academy of Photography (SAP) is organising various photography activities as a part of World Photography Day-2017.

Sigma Academy of Photography (SAP) is organising various photography activities as a part of World Photography Day-2017. To encourage both the budding and established photographers, SAP intends to organise print exhibitions to showcase their art of photography at international and National levels. As a part of it, Heritage of Telangana - Workshop and Master Class Exhibition are organised.

A six-day photography workshop from August 18-23 at SJM auditorium, Photo Exhibition from August 18-30 at Salar Jung Museum (SJM) Gallery, an International Photography Exhibition, curated works of a Galaxy of International Photography Master Photographers will be organised. About 35 photographer's works will be displayed in this exhibition with a collection of not less than 200-220 photographs at the SJM Gallery from 18th-30th of August 2017.

SAP also doing an outdoor photography workshop on August 22-23 at Ananthagiri Hills along with Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana. SAF also organising the ‘National Digital Salon’ judging at the mini conference hall at SJM.

For the photography exhibition, photography faculty and delegates will be coming from nine Universities in India and two from abroad. All the photography events will focus on heritage and culture of Telangana. IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao will inaugurate the events and will distribute prizes.
