Held in Hyderabad each September, the festival celebrates a wide range of Indian and international photography across all genres. “The festival audience ranges from arts and photography enthusiasts to professionals across the creative industries.

The IPF creates a platform for the professional and aspiring photographers, the photography lovers and the public where the IPF strives to promote the art of photography at the same time addressing the social issues through the medium of photography. The festival will have featured exhibitions, artists talks, portfolio reviews, photography workshops, book launches and more.

The 3rd edition of the Indian Photography Festival - Hyderabad, is scheduled to be held at the State Gallery of Fine Arts, Hyderabad from the September 21 - October 8, 2017,” says Aquin Mathews director of the festival. The 2017 speaker list includes Stuart Franklin (UK) - Magnum Photographer, Reza Deghati (France) - Photojournalist, Humanitarian & National Geographic Explorer, Andrea Bruce (USA) - Photographer - Noor Image, Sudharak Olwe (India) - Photojournalist, Q Sakamaki (Japan) - Documentary Photographer & Co-founder of Hikari

Creative/#everydayjapan, Natan Dvir (Israel) - Photographer, Kate Geraghty (Australia) - Photojournalist from Sydney Morning Herald, Prashant Godbole (India) - Photographer, Cecilia Paredes (Peru) - Fine Art Photographer, Gurinder Osan (India) - Photo Editor - PTI and Helena Schätzle (Germany) - Documentary Photographer.
