City-based medical taxi aggregator, eSahai has tied up with dialysis network, NephroPlus on Tuesday. In this regard, eSahai, which was earlier working on a pilot project, will now enter a long-term pact to fulfil the transportation requirements of the six NephroPlus centres in the city.

The partnership will cater to 2,300 patients every year. The company, depending on feasibility, will also slowly roll out services nation-wide at all NephroPlus branches starting from Vizag next month.

On signing the agreement, Hari Bharadwaj, Founder, eSahai said “eSahai has made tremendous headway over the last six months with the NephroPlus pilot project. We have observed 99 per cent customer satisfaction making medical transportation more convenient and economical.”

Vikram Vuppala, Founder & Ceo, NephroPlus said “eSahai’s ambulance technology aggregation service along with medical taxis has created a win-win situation for both NephroPlus and eSahai. Just the way we are experts in dialysis and manage such units inside Hospitals, eSahai is an expert in medical travel. This tie-up will help us leverage our complementing skills and strengths and continue to satisfy our patients.”

Under the terms of agreement, a margin of 10-15 per cent is drawn on the ambulance rides by eSahai, while medical taxis, which are on lease, have rate cards with charges on a per kilometre basis.
