J Ramakrishna of Andhra Bank bagged a double in the RV Avaneendra Open Rapid Chess TMT tournament conducted by not-for-profit player-backed Simply Chess Foundation at RV Avaneendra Apartments inMiyapur.

He won the Rapid title after winning all his five rounds. P Sri Sai Baswanth (5 ) and P Satyanarayana (4.5) finished second and third. K Trisha, K Tarun, C Rajineesh, K Ramu, Kalyan Srinivas, S Khan and S Ravi took the next seven sports respectively.
Later, with an aggregate of 6.5 points, Ramakrishna took the top spot in Blitz category. P Saketh, Amithpal Singh, P Sri Sai Baswanth and S Raghav were placed in the nest four spots respectively. Later, KS Prasad, Secretary of Telangana State Chess Association distributed the prizes in the presence of Surya Kotha, Chairman of Simply Chess Foundtion and members of the Organising Committee.
