Celebrity Secrets as a part of various activities in the protection of the lakes and water bodies in and around Hyderabad has taken up distribution of clay Ganesh idols for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival, to encourage people to use of eco-friendly idols.

In this regard, Directors Dr Venkat and Dr Madhavi commented on Wednesday, “We want to create awareness among citizens to install Ganesh idols made of clay rather than idols made of plaster of Paris, which is extremely harmful to the environment.

We need to keep up the spirit of this festival intact without damaging the eco-system. It is our responsibility to carry forward our rich heritage and culture.”
