Agritex next month

Kenes Exhibitions in collaboration with Telangana government is organising the fifth edition of ‘Agritex 2017’ at Hitex Grounds. The three-day conference-cum-trade will commence from September 7.

Agritex aims to sustain and augment agriculture, dairy and food processing in Telangana by bringing farming community, agriculture and dairy, food processing and aqua specialists on a single platform. Kenes Exhibitions has organised international agriculture fairs, Agritech in Israel and Peru earlier and now it is being held in Hyderabad.

The expo will have conference and exhibition to showcase new trends and developments in the agriculture, dairy, food processing and aqua arena with a special focus on innovation and start-up pavilion. This pavilion encourages companies offering innovative solutions that improve farm productivity, lower water and land usage.

Some of the major corporations who confirmed participation include John Deere; Captain; ICRISAT; Kaveri Pipes; Telangana Food Processing Society; Telangana State Agriculture and Horticulture Department; Telangana State Agriculture and Horticulture Universities and along with some of the leading companies from the UK to participate in the event.

The conference-cum trade expo has designed special sessions on topics that include seed development and quality; integrated pest and disease management among others.
