The Telangana Minority schools Education Institutes Society (TMREIS) in collaboration with Robotics club of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, organised an award function for Robotics Workshop held at 43 TMR schools in Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts for seventh class students. 

The Telangana Minority schools Education Institutes Society (TMREIS) in collaboration with Robotics club of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, organised an award function for Robotics Workshop held at 43 TMR schools in Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts for seventh class students.

Dr Mohammed Arifuddin Sohel, Head of ECE Department, MJCET mentioned in his welcome address that the 450 engineering students of all departments of MJCET went to TMR schools on August 12, 13 and 20, and taught robotics to about 4000 school students.

This project was completely sponsored by Govt. of Telangana. A total of 126 school students were presented with awards for outstanding performance in the robotics workshop. Janab Zafar Javeed, Secretary, Sultan Ul uloom education society lauded the proactive role of TMRIES in spreading education in the minority community.

He felicitated Shafiullah, Secretary, TMRIES for being presented with Excellence Award by Govt. of Telangana. B Shafiullah also unveiled 3D printed model robotic arm designed by student of ECE department of MJCET. Shafiullah also mentioned that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is dedicated for upliftment of minorities through education. As a part of his commitment, education and facilities, on par with international standards, are being provided to the students.

Dr Basheer Ahmed, Director, MJCET and Dr Syed Ferhathullah Hussaniy, Dean, MJCET commented that the college is not just dedicated to impart technical knowledge but also inculcate the spirit of social responsibility among its students. Aijaz, Dean, Vigilance, TMRIES and Lateef, Dean, Academics, MJCET were also present during the award function.
