The Roots Collegium Convocation ceremony was held on recently in the city. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS Secretary, Information Technology (IT), Government of Telangana, T Papi Reddy, CHAIRMAN, Telangana State Council of Higher Education and S P Reddy, a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist were among the special guests for the occassion. 

The Roots Collegium Convocation ceremony was held on recently in the city. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS Secretary, Information Technology (IT), Government of Telangana, T Papi Reddy, CHAIRMAN, Telangana State Council of Higher Education and S P Reddy, a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist were among the special guests for the occassion.

The award ceremony began with bestowing the outstanding Academic achievers with medals and trophies by the Chief Guests. The graduates of the year 2017 from the three streams of BBA, BCom, and BA mass com were awarded with their degrees.

The chief guests addressed the alumni regarding their experiences at life at Campus and the corporates. They also shared their experiences and the challenges overcome during their enriched long professional stint. Finally T P Reddy shared his thoughts on the India of dreams and power of youth. He urged the students to walk on the path of righteousness.

The convocation ceremony was a moment of achievement, pride, fulfillment, joy and happiness. The atmosphere was charged with joy and excitement. They also celebrated their Fresher’s Day in all its vivacity and jubilation. The occasion was celebrated amidst the dignitaries, the staff and students of the college.

The fresher’s were treated as privileged guests by the seniors. It had a fun filled atmosphere depicting the richness of the youth in all its colorfulness. The very purpose of it was to welcome new-comers in a friendly atmosphere to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. They had a pair themed ramp walk. Many famous pairs from the films were represented by the students here in costumes.
