Workshop by Rohit Kumar – ‘Where Dance Meets Art’ - The first in the series of workshops lined up by Amy Kumar, classical dancer, and founder, Prerana Pratibha had young participants learning the art of emoting – the interactive way. The evening began with an invocatory pooja nrityam by the senior students of Amy Kumar - Radha, Nandana, Geetika, Ananditha and Devanshi.

This was followed by a fun-filled and educative session by Rohit Kumar. The session was divided into 3 segments interspersed with interactive exercises which helped break the inhibitions of the children and help understand the basics of how one can begin learning the art of emoting. The basic concepts of finding a passion and love for one's art form was the key take home message of the evening.

This was followed by a short depiction of the Navarasas by Amy Kumar in the Kuchipudi style. Witnessing the performance post the workshop by Rohit enabled the students to understand and enjoy it better. The evening concluded with a short performance by 6-year-old Shloka - one of the many talented budding artistes of Prerana Pratibha.
