The ‘Co-optex Mega Expo’ began in Himayatnagar on Wednesday, which was inaugurated by Tollywood actress, Bhavya Sri. Organised by Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers’ Co-operative Society, the event features organic saris.

“We are showcasing Kancheepuram Silk, Arani Silk Saris, Salem Silk Saris, Coimbatore Soft Silk, Silk Dhothy, Erode Bedsheets, Kurties, Chudidar sets and readymade garments,” said Arun Rajan, Co-optex, Regional Manager, Product Manager Ramani.
“These saris are soft for wearing and good for health,” he added. The expo will be held until September 12.
