Southern Railway spikers are champs
The 27th All India Railway Protection Force (RPF) Volleyball Championship 2017 concluded with a tough fighting final played between Eastern Railway and Southern Railway on Friday.
The 27th All India Railway Protection Force (RPF) Volleyball Championship 2017 concluded with a tough fighting final played between Eastern Railway and Southern Railway on Friday.
The Southern Railway bagged the Championship Trophy by beating Eastern Railway by 25-23, 25-18, 25-23, 25-14. This is the third consecutive win for Southern Railway RPF Volleyball Team.
PS Rawal, Additional Director General, RPF gave away the trophy at Railway Sports Complex in Secunderabad. Congratulating the winning team, Rawal reiterated the important role of Railway Protection Force Personnel in safeguarding passengers as well as Railway property.
Sanjay Sankrityayan, Inspector General / Chief Security Commissioner and senior railway officials were present on the occasion.
