She inspected Mahatma Jyotibapule Gurukula Welfare School at Ankireddypalli of Medchal district on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the Union Government is moving ahead with ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’ programme. She described the School as a special one.

Maneka lauded the state government for providing all facilities to the students. The Minister enquired about the facilities being provided in the school.

The students expressed satisfaction over the same. They said the administration is providing nutritious food and good teachers. Later, Maneka Gandhi planted saplings on the school premises.

The Minister was accompanied by Telangana State MBC chairman T Srinivas, BC Residential School MD Mallaih Battu, District BC welfare officer Rajanna and others.
