Saket Sriyam cleanliness drive begins

Residents of Saket Sriyam, Secunderabad began a special cleanliness drive "Shramdhaan" at the apartment complex on Sunday. The scope of the activity was cutting of overgrown grass, cleaning of drains and anti-larval measures. The premises around the Play Area was identified as the first mission of the three-week drive.

The campaign saw participation from old, young and tiny tots alike. This activity will go on till first week of October and has been motivated by "Swachh Bharath" mission.

Residents opined that these kinds of activities strengthen friendship and bondages. “This also leads to all the age groups learning the importance of teamwork, leadership and public hygiene,” said a member.
