Artisans from across the country have set shop at the "Crafts and Weavers" expo in AS Rao Nagar for the festive season. The exhibition is set with the theme ‘silk and cotton expo’.
The exhibition cum sale is open until October 12 and is organised by Akbar Ali. Speaking at the event, he said that the silk and handloom products are being sold at discounted rates.
“This exhibition brings special collection for wedding and festival season and displays pieces on uppada, kalamkari, venkata giri, pochampally, gadwal, narayanpet, dharmavaram, ikat sarees, chanderi, bhagalpur designer sarres, kota, kanta work sarees, tusser, hand black print sarees, dhaka mushlin sarees, and linen among others,” he said.
