“Bathukamma is a symbol of sisterhood for women in Telangana, it has helped in achieving Telangana state by forge cultural strength all sections of women,” said T Suvarna, wife of Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
Staff and their families of Yashoda Hospitals celebrated Bathukamma at the premises in Secunderabad recently. “We wanted to be one with people in this colourful flower festival which comes just before Dasera, the major festival in Telangana,” said Dr GS Rao, Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals Group.
“Bathukamma is a symbol of sisterhood for women in Telangana, it has helped in achieving Telangana state by forge cultural strength all sections of women,” said T Suvarna, wife of Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
Bonthu Sreedevi, wife of mayor Bonthu Rammohan, who was also present, added, “Bathukamma is a festival of celebrating life. There cannot be a more appropriate cultural event than this for a hospital to organise.” Many lady officers of the state, employees from various units of Yashoda Hospitals participated in the event.
