Pledging for cleaner surroundings

NMDC Limited organised third anniversary of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ at its headquarters in the city on Monday with the message of ‘Cleaner India – Greener India’.

N Baijendra Kumar, CMD, NMDC inaugurated the programme in which Dr Narendra Kumar Nanda, Director (Technical); DS Ahluwalia, Director (Finance); Sandeep Tula, Director (Personnel) and K Vidyasagar, CVO and senior officials were present.

Kumar emphasised on the importance of cleanliness in our life. He told that we should imbibe Gandhiji’s ideology on cleanliness and contribute at least two hours in a week for cleaning our surroundings and office premises.

Later, a pledge was administered by the CMD in which employees participated and cleaned the premises of NMDC Head Office Building in Masab Tank.

The programme boosted the morale of everyone who resolved to continue their contribution in not just keeping their surroundings clean but also in spreading social awareness about the same.
