Sudden showers disrupt normality

Sudden heavy rainfall along with thunderstorm led to water logging, traffic snarls and power failure across the city on Monday. Among top areas that received maximum rainfall were Madhapur, Musheerabad, Narayanguda, Sardar Mahal zone and Miralam in addition to Rajendarnagar and Amberpet where about 6 to 8 cm rainfall was recorded until the evening. More rains are likely to hit the city in the coming days, said a statement issued by Indian Meteorological Department.
