The ‘World Space Week’ celebrations came to an end on Tuesday.
The ‘World Space Week’ celebrations came to an end on Tuesday.
A total of 20,000 students participated at Balanagar Campus, 2,000 at Jeedimetla Campus and 1,500 at Shadnagar Campus of National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), ISRO, Hyderabad.
The chief guest for the concluding function was Dr RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS). Chairman ISRO Dr AS Kiran Kumar participated through video conference from Bangalore.
The programme was telecast live to schools in Telangana.
Prizes to the winners were distributed by Dr Kumar in the presence of Dr YVN Krishnamurthy, Director NRSC and Dr BG Gopala Krishna, Deputy Director, NRSC in Shadnagar where children from all over India were present.
