Dr Rahul Gowlikar takes charge of AIR News
Dr Rahul Gowlikar, an Indian Information Service Officer of 2012 Batch has taken charge as the new head of All India Radio News, Hyderabad.
Dr Rahul Gowlikar, an Indian Information Service Officer of 2012 Batch has taken charge as the new head of All India Radio News, Hyderabad.
The announcement came through a statement on Friday.
Prior to the new assignment, Dr Gowlikar was the Spokesperson and Media Advisor to Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. His other assignments include stints in capacity as media manager cum advisor for Ministry of Chemicals, Fertilizers and Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Member of Media Certification and Monitoring Committee for Legislative Assembly Elections for Delhi in 2013 and 2015. He was also the Nodal Officer for Media Relations for the Make in India and Maritime India Summit held in Mumbai in 2015. He completed the prestigious Defence Correspondents Course held by Ministry of Defence in 2016.
Dr Gowlikar is native of Hyderabad and an alumnus of Gandhi Medical College.
