Urban Superintendent of Police B Raja Kumari has said that donating blood is to save a life and it is an opportunity given by God to human beings.

Participating in a blood donation camp conducted in Rajamahendravaram on Tuesday, in connection with police commemmoration day celebrations, she said blood donation helps to maintain sound health as new blood generates.

At present many people are facing problems due to lack of blood while under going treatment and some are dying due to lack of blood.

She advised the police personnel to donate blood at least twice in a year to save the needy.

Government Head Quarters hospital Dr Ramesh Kishore, deputy superintendent of police J Kula Sekhar and others were present.
