One stop for artists
Telangana Artists Association is State’s first registered artists association. It will have a database of all artists members on its website www.tartists.in with their direct profile/website links to make it easy for all event managers/organisers/vendors to approach and book them directly.

The founder and president Sharon Aamir says, “Eminent artists with expertise in various fields of art like virtual arts, fashion choreography, DJ, theatre, singing, fashion blogs, dance and other forms came together to form Telangana Artists association (TAA).
There has been a vacuum in the entertainment industry over the years as there was no legal body representing the artists. Talented artists could not find the right platform to showcase their art form. To fill this void, and to provide better work opportunities, TAA has been formed.”
“TAA is a non-profit registered body of professional artists. TAA will be the unified voice of the artists fraternity of Telangana to the Government and other statutory bodies,” shares Sharon.
Hyderabad-based artist Sravanthi Juluri, who is board member says, “TAA a one stop portal that promotes the classical and the contemporary arts. From visual to performance arts, painters to digital artists, dancers to singers, folk artists to ventriloquists, theatre act performers/directors to choreographers, videographers to photographers, illusionists to magicians and all other special acts performers can join as members.Artist's profile and website/ contact link will be uploaded on the website which will be a one stop portal for all vendors and organisers to hire artists directly. Member artist also gets to participate in workshops to update their art skills.
A member artist also gets to connect with all other members and build social and professional relations.”
Other board members are DJ Piyush, vice president; Imran Khan, fashion designer, general secretary; Aliya Baig makeup artist, treasurer; Danish Khan, theatre and film actor/director, executive board member.
The launch is on November 1, at 7pm at Trillion Ballroom, The Park Hotel, Somajiguda.
