The 10th National Conference of All India Muslim Educational Society (AIMES), an umbrella body of Muslim educational institutions across India, will be held on November 4 and 5. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will inaugurate the event.

The announcement came from chairman of the conference committee Asif Pasha at a presser in the city on Monday. MS Farooq, General Secretary and General Convenor of Conference Committee, SA Huda, Prof. Ahmedullah Khan, former Dean of Law at Osmania University, Raheemuddin Ansari, Khaleel ur Rahman and Mirza Abdullah Ali Baig were present on this occasion.

Pasha said “the AIMES conference is being organized in Hyderabad after nearly 40 years. The agenda of the conference is to discuss solutions to the educational, financial and social problems of the Muslim community.”

In the inaugural session of the AIMES National Conference both the Deputy Chief Ministers of Telangana State Mahmood Ali and Kadiam Srihari, MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Kerala State Minister for Local Self Government & Minorities Dr KT Jaleel, Prince of Arcot Chennai Mohammed Abdul Ali Azimjah, Former Chief Secretary J & K Padma Bhusan Moosa Raza, MLC Md Fareedudidn, Md Saleem and others will also participate.

Prof PO Lebba, General secretary, MES Kerala, Fakkir Mohammed Ibrahim Kalifulla, former Supreme Court Judge, Sirajuddin Qureshi, Indian Islamic Cultural Centre President, T.Rafeeq Ahmed, MEASI Secretary, AK Khan advisor to Government of Telangana, Hamed Mohammed Khan, President, Jamaat e Islami Hyderabad, Dr Khader Mangad, former VC, Kannur University and Director SAFI (Calicut), Abida Inamdar, educationist, Humera Ahmed, women’s empowerment activist, Dr Amna Mirza, Asst. Professor of Delhi University, M Razzack, former President of MES Chennai and eminent educationists, academicians, teachers from various institutions and Politicians across India will participate in this conference.
