Vigilance Week begins
Vigilance Awareness Week started with taking of ‘Integrity Pledge’ by staff of SBI throughout the branches and offices of State Bank of India on Monday.
Vigilance Awareness Week started with taking of ‘Integrity Pledge’ by staff of SBI throughout the branches and offices of State Bank of India on Monday.
Hardayal Prasad, Chief General Manager, Hyderabad Circle administered the pledge to the staff of Local Head Office. In this connection he said that as per the theme of this year “My vision- Corruption free India”, SBI rededicates itself for upholding integrity and transparency in all its operations.”
He informed that in SBI it is zero tolerance to corruption.
In order to sensitise the public on the evils of corruption SBI is conducting Grama Sabhas at all village Branches and Customer Meetings at all branches on anti-corruption measures. Quiz and debates will be held at schools and colleges to imbibe ethical behaviour and honesty in children.
The Chief General Manager requested all public to visit Central Vigilance Commission website (http://www.cvc.nic.in) and take online integrity pledge.
