Charlapalli police outpost remains unused & locked
The outpost set up by the Rachakonda police in the Charlapalli Industrial Estate and inaugurated by then Commissioner C V Anand as a prestigious set-up to cater to the needs of residents of the estate, besides Chinna and Pedda Charlapalli, remains unused and locked to this day.

Normally the outpost should be manned by a sub-inspector, but there is not even a constable to discharge duty. Locals like Prabhakar Reddy, who want to lodge complaints, or bring problems to the notice of the police, are a disappointed lot finding the outpost locked.
Reddy and other residents while speaking to The Hans India have appealed to the department to open the outpost. Interestingly, however, when contacted by THI for his reaction on the issue Kushaiguda inspector denied the closure.
