Ex-servicemen rally tomorrow
Army Ordnance Corps Centre under the aegis of HQ Dakshin Bharat Area will conduct an ex-servicemen (ESM) rally at AOC Gajraj Stadium here on November 12.
Secunderabad: Army Ordnance Corps Centre under the aegis of HQ Dakshin Bharat Area will conduct an ex-servicemen (ESM) rally at AOC Gajraj Stadium here on November 12.
About 5,000 Ex-servicemen, Veer Naaris, veterans of World War-II of Army, Navy and Air Force belonging to Ranga Reddy, Medchal, Malkajgiri, Vikarabad and Hyderabad districts of Telangana are expected to participate in the event, which will begin at 9am.
Many stalls will be put up to facilitate and resolve grievances related to pension, re-employment, rehabilitation under the latest policies and guidelines.
Medical and health camps for free dental and medical check-up and women health issues will be conducted by Military Hospital Secunderabad. Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Polyclinic, Secunderabad will also put up a stall to create awareness in ex-servicemen, Veer Naaris and next of kin of the latest benefits and policies. Stalls from Postal Department, Army Postal Node (APN) and SBI will also be put up to help veterans in availing their services.
