No traffic ACP in Old City Administrative problems galore
Following the recent transfers in police department, the Old City left with no traffic police Assistant Commissioner that is leading to administrative issues here.

Sources in the Traffic police said that Old City needs traffic ACP at the earliest. The division 6 Charminar is working without ACP and traffic sleuths inform that instructions from the upper hierarchy are difficult to reach the officers. Without a nodal officer like the ACP, orders are not being implemented in time.
Interestingly, four sub divisions of the South zone have been allotted the Law and Order ACPs recently.
Moreover, the Law and Order wing also lack a higher officer in the South Zone. Sources in the traffic police said that a permanent officer was must to carry out the works smoothly.
Charminar, Bahadur Pura, Falaknuma and Mir Chowk Police stations come under Charminar Traffic ACP. However, lack of the senior officer is leading to confusion among the traffic cops and function of traffic department.
The former ACP was transferred after promotion recently. City Traffic Additional DCP Mohammed Tajuddin is in-charge of the South zone tentatively.
