Corporator demands new pipes from Water Board

Mallapur: The Corporator of Mallapur, Devender Reddy Pannala submitted a representation to the MD of HMWSSB, M Dana Kishore on Thursday to replace cement water pipes in the area with plastic ones. It should be noted that it is due to the cement water pipes there is a lot of water contamination that takes occurs; these pipes supply to the houses in the area. The Corporator said that the pipes cause disruption of water supply. He said that the material is unreliable and gets corroded eroded over time thereby affecting the quality of water flowing through them.
