Saidabad: As part of ‘Social Action Projects’ youth champions organised a food festival at SM Model High School here on Wednesday.

The Youth Champions from BJR College, AV College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Muffakham Jah (Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration), and City College, organised the festival for 50 students, who interacted on the variety of cuisines from Hyderabad, while enjoying the meal together.

In addition, the Youth Champions of Madina Degree College and BJR College organised a film screening on Interfaith at their college in Nampally. Later they conducted a workshop on Identity, over 100 students attended the programme.

The event was organised as part of ‘Agaaz-e-Batcheet’ event, which is a weeklong Interfaith event that celebrates religious diversity through community cohesion. It is a secular platform for young people to interpret and reflect deeply upon the underlying message of different religions and religious identities, finding and celebrating the commonalities between them.
