Marredpally: The residents of Kakaguda basti met the ward No 5 board member and vice president J Ramakrishna here on Thursday with regards to water bills. Residents allege that few slums in the Secunderabad Cantonment get subsidy while they do not.
Arun, a resident said that he has been getting high bills and several representations to the SCB officials evinced no response. J Ramakrishna assured the residents that they the issue would be looked into and that they would have to pay subsidised bills from January 2018 onwards.
