Venkateshwar Kalyanam organised

Khajaguda: After the heated discussions with opposition parties in the assembly, MLC MS Prabhakar Rao and his local body of workers organised a ‘Venkateshwar Kalyanam’ pooja at his residence here in the evening, as part of Karthik Poornima celebrations.

The programme began with the lighting of lamps around the mandapam. The colourful flowers with which the place was decorated was altogether a mesmerising. The pooja was performed with enthusiasm by the participants including the leaders.

N Ramchander Rao, MLC said, “Bonding with people on such occasions is more important, to understand each other and is possible through conducting of such events. Our ultimate objective is to ensure everybody’s happiness and prosperity.”

After the pooja prasadam was distributed among the devotees, followed by the annadanam. Prabhakar Rao addressed the gathering describing the importance of the day and how they do their part to bring about changes in the society.

The event saw the participation of major BJP leaders like MLC Ramchander Rao, MS Prabhakar Rao, Sabawat Ramulu and other devotees and family members.
