Love Hyd bids adieu to Tank Bund
Not even one full year passed from the date of its installation, and the ‘Love Hyd’ typographical structure is being shifted. Officials of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) began the shifting of the structure here on Friday. It will be housed at the People’s Plaza.

A senior HMDA official informed that the department is shifting the structure owing to the security threat posed to children and adults, who violated their safety by standing on top of it. “We will reinstall it at People’s Plaza within a week after repainting it,” he said.
The structure, which was inaugurated by MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao on November 26, 2016, was touted to be a symbol of development and beautification of the city. It was designed by artistes Hitesh Malaviya in collaboration with Hanif Kureshi.
