Hyderabad: Padmashali Seva Samajam (PSS) Trust is celebrating its golden jubilee ceremony on November 19 at its marriage function hall located in West Maredpally. In addition to providing hostel facility to boys and girls from rural areas, Padmashali Trust is actively engaged in social service extending kar seva during natural calamities and made contributions to PM Relief Fund, CM Relief Fund, families of Kargil martyrs, etc, said Trust’s Chairman G Pandu Padmashali.

Telangana IT, Industry and Textiles Minister KT Rama Rao, Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav, former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya will inaugurate the diamond jubilee celebrations, according to a release.
Padmashali MPs, Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar, Gundu Sudharani, Sangareddy MLA Chinta Prabhakar, TTDP President L Ramana, TRS General Secretary Chagandla Narendranath, BC Commission Chairman BS Ramulu and other officials will grace the occasion, said Prof Tadka Yadagiri Padmashali in the release.
All India Padmashali Association President Sridhar Sunkurwar, Surakanti Veerasham and Ganji Hanumantha Rao will be chief guests.

Nomula Ramprakash Padmashali, General Secretary, PSS Trust, said: “Padmashali Seva Samajam is the first community organization to work in different passion unlike a mere community association. Our hostels provide accommodation to students from all communities. With a modern outlook to transform lives of jobless individuals into self-reliant, we have been providing guidance and assistance to the needy to make them responsible citizens, who contribute to the development of society. Padmashali Seva Samajam is spearheading the movement in providing self-employment opportunities to unemployed youth in addition to hostel facility to students from districts. We’re also running a hostel for girls in Secunderabad.”

Cloth and yarn merchants in 1967 set up Padmashali Seva Samajam at West Maredpalli in Secunderabad and the Trust runs several hostels for students, marriage function hall, home for the aged, self-employment training centre.
