Residents clean up park

About 100 residents of Jaya Nagar Colony cleaned the park in their area on Friday and removed garbage. The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) deployed workers and three truckloads of garbage was removed from the park.

Locals want the park to be converted into a play area and requested the board member J Maheshwar Reddy to facilitate for sports equipment. Ram, a local resident said that once the park is filled with sports equipment it would not only help children who want to play but also keep away anti-social elements.
