Musheerabad: Student Unions and People’s organisations staged protest demonstrations in front of the Sundarayya Vignana Kendram on Tuesday opposing US President Donald Trump’s daughter and advisor Ivanka Trump’s visit to India. They raised slogan asking Ivanka to go back.

Speaking on the occasion, Praja Front leader Nalamasa Krishna said the poor and the middle classes wouldn’t benefit from advent of the corporates and investors. “This wouldn’t even benefit either the state or the country. Public money and state’s coffers will become empty,” he added.

Chikkadapalli Police arrested the agitators. Chaitnya Mahila Sangam members, Krishna, Shilpa, Sandhya and others were present.
