Residents fret over open sewerage pipeline pits

Kukatpally: Bhagyanagar Colony residents are facing severe problems as the sewerage pipelines are left lying open for the past few days. A senior citizen S Thomas said, “It is very difficult for everyone to walk on this route. Early morning, I go for walking and the other day I fell down while walking and I hurt myself.”

P Priya, a homemaker said, “The area was left open for the past few days and it is not safe for children. There are so many incidents happening in the city like children falling in the pits, but the government is not taking any action on this issue.”

K Anand, a motorist said, “There is hardly any space for the vehicles to go in this colony and there is a lot of traffic jam in the peak hours. Many accidents keep happening in this colony as the road gets congested.”
