Musheerabad: The Chief City Planner Devander and officials of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) headed 20ft demolition drive at VST Junction on Friday to facilitate road widening works.
The locals brought to the notice of Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao that they were facing hardships due to narrow road during the Minister’s tour in the city the previous week. The Minister responding to the appeal directed the officials to take up the road widening works immediately.
Traffic will flow freely from RTC Cross Roads to Vidyanagar once the works are complete. GHMC Deputy Commissioner Krishna Sekhar, Bhargava Narayana and others were present.
