Encouraging self-defence among youngsters

Secunderabad: Encouraging young people to practice the art of self-defence and shedding light on the importance of sports in building a disciplined lifestyle, Excise Minister T Padma Rao released the logo of a Karate Association at his residence recently. In a similar event, the minister also distributed sports kits to aspiring sportsmen at Seethaphalmandi office, here on Saturday. "Sports is not a way of living but a way of life. It is important to tap the talent of our people by supporting them even through small gestures. We never know how much they can achieve unless we give them a chance," said Rao.
